Continue forum posting: Participating in discussions by posting on forums is very necessary to get higher traffic. Forum is a place where lots of people make a community and share their experience. If you are an active member and contribute with valuable information to the community, people will take a chance to learn more by visiting your site. You can use your website name as your signature. Thus, when you will comment any post every time your link will appear there. Some forums also allow dofollow signature. By posting on forums you can get dofollow backlink and lots of visitors, and it will increase your ranking.

Comment on other blogs: Blog commenting is surely a great way of creating backlink. Blog commenting is not only a great way of creating backlink; it is also a nice way to collect visitors from other blogs. There are so many people who read the comment section of a blog. If they found something interesting then they tries to make a journey to those blogs. So every time when you leave a comment to other’s blog either it is dofollow or nofollow include your link to the URL field of the comment form. You can use your keyword instead of your name to comment form. If the person become interested on that keyword no doubts that surely he will visit your blog. You should comment on those blogs that are relevant to your content.

Submit your unique article to major article submission sites: Article submission or Article Marketing is a nice way to create backlink and drive traffic to your site. There are lots of article submission site where you can submit your article. You should attach your link with your article to get a backlink. One thing I want to mention that don’t submit same article to all directories. Create unique article and submit them to major directories.

Exchange your link: link exchange strategy is another way of link building. You can exchange your link with your friends. You can also contact with webmasters and exchange your links with high PR websites. Thus you will be able to get a backlink and increase your ranking.  

Become a guest author: Search for high PR blogs that accept guest blogging. Make some good quality content and publish there. Thus you can get some quality backlink. One thing I want to mention that don’t spam with your article. Always submit unique content with quality information. If they think your article is valuable they will willingly pay you backlink. So there has no alternative to good quality content. Always try to find high ranking blogs that are highly relevant to your content. Thus you will not get only strong backlinks but also hundreds of visitor per month. 

Become active on social networking site: Nowadays it will be very rare to find any person who doesn’t use any social networking site. Become active on social networking site like facebook, twitter, google+, linked in, my space etc. Spread your link to those social networking sites. Create fan page, participate on groups and share your link to those sites. Remember it’s not hard to drive thousands of visitors a day by using those social networking site.
